Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Accounts

You can create an account through a supported social sign-in provider. You are responsible for maintaining control of your provider account and for activity that occurs through your Frontend Mastery account. The information you provide or receive from your sign-in provider must be accurate, and you must notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

3. Use of the Platform

You may use the Platform to study frontend topics, complete coding challenges, save and publish solutions, receive feedback, and participate in the community. You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for an illegal, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purpose.
• Post or share content that infringes another person's intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Harass other users or publish malicious, deceptive, or harmful content.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or compromise the Platform or another user's account.
• Use automated means to access the Platform in a way that harms the service or bypasses access controls.

5. Frontend Mastery Content

The Platform and its learning materials, challenge descriptions, designs, images, starter files, and other resources are owned by Frontend Mastery or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use those materials for your personal learning and participation on the Platform.

You may not, except where we expressly allow it:

• Sell, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display Platform resources outside the Platform.
• Upload Platform resources to external sites, personal websites, or public or private code repositories.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of code, comments, profile information, and other content you submit. You grant Frontend Mastery a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and otherwise use that content as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Platform. If you publish a solution or profile information, you understand that it may be visible to other users and visitors.

You are responsible for your content and must have the rights needed to submit it. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

7. AI-Generated Feedback

Some features may use artificial intelligence to evaluate code or provide feedback. AI-generated output can be incomplete or inaccurate and is offered for educational assistance only. You should review it critically and remain responsible for decisions you make based on it.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information about you when you use the Platform.

9. Availability and Changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform. We do not guarantee that the Platform will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Frontend Mastery disclaims all express or implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Frontend Mastery and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or use, arising from your access to or use of the Platform.

12. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Frontend Mastery and its affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your content, your use of the Platform, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or misuse the service. You may stop using the Platform at any time.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any mandatory consumer protections available to you under applicable law remain unaffected.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on the Platform and update the date above. Your continued use of the Platform after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
